Tag Team Back Again!
This was one of the first, pure super-hero commission that I did.
I had read a few Legion of Super Hero books in my time but I wasn’t ever as big of a fan as say a certain book with the X in the title.
The concept was pretty straight-forward so I had no problem drawing the characters or even working up the masthead, which took up a good almost half of the page.
Because everything filled the space nicely I wanted the background to have that had a nice space-y feel too it without it being too much.
II used a white splatter technique to help give the page texture and separate harder blacks from a suddenly more grey toned background.
